Join us on Saturday, April 26th, at the Glide Athletic Fields for our 2025 Heron’s Flight. Heron’s Flight is an event to promote education, wellness, and physical activity. Additionally, all funds raised through the 5k registration will go towards supporting the Carmen Bernal Compassionate Nursing Scholarship.

Heron’s Flight includes a 5k Fun Run/Walk, a Wellness Zone, and a Community Zone. All sections aimed at fulfilling a different need.

The Heron’s Flight will have one flight, at 10:30 AM.

Need a provider? Aviva Health will be on sight with their informative booth and a team of specialized personal to connect you with health insurance if you have a need. Find local wellness providers and vendors in the Wellness Zone, additionally stop by Umpqua Valley Farm 2 School’s booth to learn more about their programs! In the Community Zone you will find local childcare resources, food banks, family service programs, and other local organizations and nonprofits.
