Every Step Supports Future Nurses

Heron’s Flight is more than a race. It’s a community celebration of wellness, education, and compassion. Net proceeds benefit the Carmen Bernal Compassionate Nursing Scholarship, helping aspiring healthcare professionals in Douglas County pursue their calling. All donations go directly to the scholarship fund.

5K Fun Run/Walk

A scenic route along Glide Loop Drive through the heart of the Glide community. Runners and walkers welcome. One flight at 10:30 AM.

Wellness Zone

Aviva Health, local wellness providers, and health insurance navigators on site. Find a provider, get screened, and explore resources for your family.

Community Zone

Local childcare resources, food trucks, family services, and nonprofits. Visit Umpqua Valley Farm2School and other organizations serving Douglas County.

Heron’s Flight includes a Wellness Zone, a Community Zone, and vendor space. If you’re a local business, health provider, or nonprofit, we’d love to have you.

Informational and nonprofit booths are free. We just as you to fill out the application so we can plan. Booths selling products or services are subject to a vendor fee.
